In the morning, we transport your child from Young Horizons School to their local elementary school in time for the start of the school day. After the school day ends, our team picks your child up directly from their elementary school and brings them safely back to Young Horizons School. Trust in:

What ages does the School Age Program serve?
Our School Age Program serves children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. If your child is currently enrolled in an elementary school, they are welcome at Young Horizons School before and after their school day.
What time does Before School Care begin?
We are open starting at 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Children can arrive at Young Horizons School any time after 6:30 AM and will be transported to their elementary school in time for the start of the school day.
What time does After School Care end?
After School Care is available until 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, giving working families the flexibility they need.
Do you provide transportation to and from local elementary schools?
Yes! Young Horizons School provides safe, reliable transportation to and from participating local elementary schools as part of our School Age Program. In the morning, we transport children from Young Horizons to their school. In the afternoon, we pick children up from school and bring them back to Young Horizons. Please contact your nearest location to confirm which schools we serve in your area.
Is there a separate charge for transportation?

Do you help with homework?
Absolutely. Homework help is a core part of our After School Care program. Our educators are on hand each afternoon to guide children through their assignments, answer questions, and support good study habits — so many children arrive home with their homework already finished.
What enrichment activities are offered in the School Age Program?
Every day includes a mix of activities designed to engage school-age minds and bodies. These include creative arts, STEM projects, music, Spanish vocabulary, outdoor play on our 5,500 sq-ft playground, indoor gross motor activities, group games, and themed special projects. Optional enrichment programs such as basketball, soccer, and karate are also available for a nominal fee.
What happens on school holidays and early dismissal days?
Young Horizons School is open on most school holidays, teacher workdays, and early dismissal days, providing full-day care for school-age children. Please contact your local Young Horizons location for the full holiday care schedule and availability.
Are snacks provided?
Yes! All children in our School Age Program receive a healthy morning snack before school and a nourishing afternoon snack when they return from school. We are a nut-free environment, and snacks are catered to allergies and sensitivities.

Is the School Age Program offered year-round?
